Taking Photos

  1. Open Camera.

  2. You can perform the following operations:

    • Focus: tap in the screen where you want to highlight.

      To separate the focus point and metering point, press and hold in the viewfinder frame, and when the focus frame and metering frame appear at the same time, drag them to the desired position separately.

    • Adjust the brightness: Tap the screen and swipe up or down next to the focus frame.

    • Zoom in or out: Open/pinch both fingers on the screen or slide the zoom bar next to the screen to zoom in/out.

    • Select camera mode: In the camera mode area, swipe left, right, up, or down to select a mode.

    • Turn the flash on or off: tap and select (Auto), (On), (Off), or (Always on).

      When (Auto) is selected, if the camera detects that you are in a dark environment, a flash alert will appear in the viewfinder and the flash will automatically turn on when shooting.

    • Select a filter: Tap to preview the filter effect.

    Not all modes support the above operation, please refer to each mode for details.

  3. Tap the shutter to shoot.

Take Burst Photos

Use Burst mode to take a sequence of photos in quick succession so you can choose the best one.

  1. Open Camera, select PHOTO mode, and make sure the rear camera is in use.

  2. Touch and hold or press and hold one of the Volume buttons to take a burst photo.

    When shooting, you'll see a counter, which indicates how many photos you've taken so far.

  3. Lift your finger to stop shooting.

Select the Burst Photos You Want to Keep

  1. Open Gallery. Touch a burst photo (which is tagged with ), then touch .

  2. Swipe through the burst photos, select the ones you want to keep, then touch and follow the onscreen instructions.

To delete the whole burst photo, touch and hold to select the photo, then touch .

Take Timed Photos

The camera timer allows you to set a countdown so you can get into position after you have touched the shutter button.

  1. Go to Camera > > Timer and select a countdown.

  2. Return to the viewfinder and touch the shutter button. Your phone will take a photo when the countdown ends.

Photography using voice control

No need to tap the shutter manually, just say the command and take a photo.

  1. Go to Camera > > Audio control and select a voice control mode:

    • Say keyword: When the phone recognizes someone saying cheese , it will take a photo.

    • Speak loudly: The phone will shoot when it recognizes a large sound nearby.

  2. Go back to the camera screen and take photos according to the voice control you have set.

  3. To disable this feature, go to Audio control and select Off.

Photography using gestures

When taking a selfie with the front camera, raise your palm to face the preview screen to take the shot.

  1. Open Camera, select the PHOTO or PORTRAIT mode, and tap to switch to the front camera.

  2. Tap to turn on Gesture control.

  3. Return to the preview screen and raise your entire palm up (fingertips up, palm facing the screen) close to your face at a distance of about 20 cm from the screen and hold it for a moment to ensure that the front camera recognizes the entire palm.

  4. After the front camera recognizes the gesture, wait for a countdown of 2 seconds and the photo will be captured automatically.
